REQUIREMENTS FOR REGISTRATION WITH THE TRADES REGISTRY DIRECTORATE
1) REGISTRATION (REGISTRATION) - PROFESSIONAL REGISTRATION PROCESS
In order to be able to register at the Tradesmen and Craftsmen Registry, it is stated in Article 7 of the Law on Professional Organizations No. 5362, titled Membership Conditions;
1. To be a citizen of the Republic of Turkey or to be a citizen of a foreign state, but to be engaged in art and trade in Turkey.
2. To have the license to use civil rights.
3. To be taxpayer or exempt from tax.
4. Not to be registered in the chambers of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey.
Conditions are sought.
Tradesmen and craftsmen within the scope of the Law No. 5362 on Professional Organizations are obliged to have their status registered in the Registry to which they are affiliated and announced in the Tradesmen and Craftsmen Registry Gazette within thirty days from the date they start working, excluding those who work for them.
In order for tradesmen and craftsmen to engage in professional activities and be registered with the relevant chamber, their registration in the registry is required, and a separate registration is required for each profession in the registry. A separate fee is charged for each registration. If the persons who come to the tradesmen and artisans registry directorate for registration have a previous registration number, their transactions are continued over this registration number, and a new registration number is not given.
If the person concerned opens a second workplace for the same profession within the working area of the same room, this second workplace is registered as a branch workplace.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR REGISTRATION-VOCATIONAL REGISTRATION
Copy of Identity Card (Letter)
Photocopy of Power of Attorney (If the person will not register himself, the Power of Attorney and ID of the person who will register must be with him during registration.)

Members to register must know the UAVT (National Address Database) compliant address of their workplaces. In cases where the workplace address in the tax documents is not compatible with the UAVT (National Address Database), an Address Detection Report (Number) must be obtained from the District Municipality to which the workplace is affiliated.
Members who apply for registration in the Real Estate Consultancy profession (Tax liability starts after 05.06.2018) are required to be at least High School Graduate in order to obtain the Real Estate Trade Authorization Certificate.
Members who apply to register in the Auto Gallery profession (Tax liability starts after 13.08.2018); In order to be able to buy and sell vehicles from a notary public, at least a High School Graduate is required.
