AK Party Deputy Chairman and Adana Deputy Jülide Sarıeroğlu visited Adana Chambers of Craftsmen and Craftsmen Union (Adana ESOB) President Niyazi Göger. |
The meeting held in the meeting hall of the Union service building was attended by our vice president, members of the management, audit, discipline committees, and the heads of our chambers serving in the center and districts.
Speaking at the opening of the meeting, our President Niyazi Göger conveyed to Minister Sarıeroğlu the problems of our tradesmen and craftsmen, as well as their demands and expectations from our state.
Our President Mr. At the meeting, where the decrease in the exchange rate and its reflection on the markets after the new economic program announced by Recep Tayyip Erdoğan were also discussed, our President Niyazi Göger said that tradesmen and craftsmen are disturbed by the fact that shopping malls and chain markets and suppliers raise their products on the pretext of the increase in the exchange rate.
Our President Niyazi Göger said, “Our President, Mr. As a result of the new economic program announced by Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the measures taken by our government, the exchange rate was lowered, and our citizens expected that the increased prices would be taken back in the same way. We expect the shopping malls and chain markets, which update their shelf prices every day with the excuse of the rapid increase in foreign currency, to reduce their prices now to make their sincerity believable. The price reductions of the AVM, Chain Market and suppliers will affect all segments through a series, and prices will be on track in all sectors from large markets to small tradesmen in a short time.”
Drawing attention to the unfair competition caused by chain markets opened more than once in the same neighborhood or even on the same street, our President Niyazi Göger expressed that they expect support for the re-determination of the criteria for opening chain markets.
Jülide Sarıeroğlu, AK Party Deputy Chairman and Adana Deputy, pointed out that our state is always on the side of tradesmen and craftsmen.
Stating that our state provided a financial contribution of 705 billion liras throughout Turkey during the pandemic period, of which 1.8 billion liras was provided to Adana, our Minister Sarıeroğlu underlined that the support will continue decisively.
After the meeting, our Union President Niyazi Göger thanked our Minister Jülide Sarıeroğlu for the support she gave to our tradesmen and craftsmen, and presented a gift in memory of the visit.
