Adana ESOB President Niyazi Göger, in his statement due to the approaching Ramadan, stated that all segments of the society should take care of the small tradesmen who open their shops at the first light of the morning and serve until sahur and constitute the most important commercial establishment of our country's economy.

Noting that the blessings of Ramadan will be the lifeblood of small shopkeepers who are experiencing troubled times due to the coronavirus epidemic, the President of the Union, Niyazi Göger, said that citizens should do their Ramadan shopping from local tradesmen, not from shopping malls and chain markets, where imported products are mainly sold and the current account deficit is fueled, and food parcels are provided to families in need. He also called on benefactors to distribute food parcels from tradesmen.

President Niyazi Göger, who also warned the citizens to stay away from under the counter products, emphasized that the difference between an affordable product and a poor quality product should be distinguished when shopping for Ramadan.
