Let s not give up the event while normalizing

Adana Chambers of Craftsmen and Craftsmen Union (Adana ESOB) President Niyazi Göger pointed out that the number of cases increased in Adana during the controlled normalization process, and said, "We must act more carefully and cautiously against the risk of Covid-19."

Adana ESOB President Niyazi Göger stated that according to the data announced by the Ministry of Health, the number of cases per 100 thousand people increased from 41.22 to 53.22 in the last week, and Adana has changed from yellow to orange.

Noting that with the increase in the number of cases, the entry of Adana, which is in the medium risk group, into the high risk group is alarming for the city, Mayor Niyazi Göger said, “We have to be more cautious to reduce the risk in Adana, which is in the high risk group. We should not be complacent while normalizing, and we should act more carefully and cautiously in order not to lose the advantages we gained during the normalization period," he said.

Pointing out that there is a density of people in the bazaars, markets and recreation areas, especially on the weekend when the curfew is over, and the weather is clear, Union President Niyazi Göger said, “Lending restrictions and bans does not mean that everything is back to normal. The fight against the epidemic continues in our province. We must be cautious, we must not let our guard down. If we become complacent, our number of cases will increase. This will bring new restrictions and bans. This will negatively affect us all. Our shopkeepers will have to close their workplaces again, the weekend curfew will return. Our tradesmen and citizens, who opened their workplaces after a long break, should be careful and show extreme sensitivity in complying with the rules of combating the epidemic, especially mask, distance and hygiene.
